Pure white Ross brand microcrystalline-1135 in pastille form.
This microcrystalline hard wax has a melting point of
Ozokerite wax. It is a blend of true waxes which produce a dry wax with high solvent absorption and gel values. Its structure is unlike those of the paraffins and microcrystalline waxes. It is also compatible with vegetable, animal and mineral waxes, a large variety of natural and synthetic resins, fatty acids, glycerides. Used in pomades, creams, lotions and lipstick.
Uses include:
Acts as a scratch/mar resistance agent. Also acts as a matting agent for variety of applications. Imparts smooth, silky feel and appearance. Enhances slip out of molds. Blended with paraffin wax, they create candles with increased
flexibility to prevent breakage, have a higher melt point, and increased opacity
Microcrystalline wax
