WILA~7~ cast iron waffle maker for a waffle about 7" x 4" with handles for cooking over a camp fire or cookstove?
Hinges and handles are securely attached and the whole thing is in good condition if you plan to use it.
*I cannot find any info for the name WILA which is the name I read on the front along with the number 7

A.W.Reiser designed and made decorative cast iron things in the 1930's era including TV lamps and matchsafes. The photo I saw while recearching for this elephant wall holder showed it holding a pair of aluminum salt and pepper containers-in the space in the middle of the elephant's back and on the round tray the elephant trunk is holding-however--I do not know what fit in the square area in top of the elephant head-some seem to think it would have been a small box of kitchen matches--but that is simply a guess. NO extra items came with the holder when I got it. You can add your own S/P holder and matches to the holder or whatever other items that suits your decor in the room you will be hanging it. The FEET have a small hook design that would hold POTHOLDERS.
Painted green with orange trim-shows age wear along with a bit of rust. Measures approximate 10 inches across x 7 1/2 inches from top of the head down.
